Chunky Fair Trade Bracelet, made from canvas beads and yellow and green wood chunks. The canvas beads are striped with attractive purple, blue and green colours. The overall effect creates a bright, funky fashion statement.
The bracelet is elasticated, so will fit most wrist sizes.

This Fair Trade bracelet was handmade in Thailand. A mesage from the women artisans in the Thailand team is "Kop Khun Kha" ("Thank you").
Producer Information
This operation consists of a small team of mainly female artisans based on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. The workers are nurtured and supported, leading to a loyal and motivated workforce.
1o full time, highly skilled artisans work in the studio designing and making necklaces and bracelets, along with about 15 - 20 home workers who do the beading. Workers earn at least 35% above the national minimum wage, they get their lunch paid for and their medical care. The workers are offered good working hours - overtime is voluntary and never exceeds 12 hours per week.
Staff are involved in the decision making process giving them a sense of empowerment unusual for this type of industry.
