Palm Leaf Shopping Bag, Check Design

Attractive, large palm leaf Fair Trade shopping bag with red, cream and yellow check design.

Inside, it has one main compartment which  is reed lined and has 2 plastic coated handles for extra strength.

This Fair Trade bag was handmade in Vietnam.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam,  this organisation aims to find work for neglected families by selling Vietnamese Fair Trade handicraft products to both local and export markets, to customers that care about a fair wage and working conditions.

It also provides training and promotes self reliance to the disadvantaged women, children and ethnic families of Southern Vietnam. The project allows women to supplement their income with flexible work at home with payment rates far higher than they would get from normal commercial employers. Sales profits are used for funding various social work activities.
