Recycled Bottle Top Basket

This Fair Trade recycled bottle top basket has been skillfully constructed using a metal frame and a vast assortment of recycled bottle tops - everything from Coca Cola, Fanta and Sprite, to Carling, Lion and Pilsner Lager brands. It has 2 metal handles which can be folded into the basket should you want to save space. The baskets are strong and practical and will carry quite a weight.

Because of the nature of the materials used, each product will differ slightly from the image used, but this simply adds to the uniqueness of the basket.

This Fair Trade recycled bottle top basket was handmade in Zimbabwe.

The Improved Arts Metal Sculpture Project was started in 1986 by five brothers. Having discovered their artistic talents, they founded the group to depict African natural history through metalwork and to make a better living.

Old tin cans and other scraps of metal from businesses in the industrial area of Harare, the captal city of Zimbabwe are turned into these delightful sculptures by these artists using snips, pliers, and hammers.
