SOUTHPORT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
As a celebration of Southport`s growing international character, there will be an International Flags Parade down Lord Street at 12.00 noon, followed by a short presentation by the Mayor of Sefton and by Southport MP John Pugh.
Then, throughout the afternoon, there will be a family festival outside the Town Hall.
This will include African/Caribbean singers, a dance group, a Gospel singer and a whole host of trade stalls and entertainment.
THE FAIR TRADE STORE will have a stall at the event, selling their beautiful Fair Trade Bags, Accessories, Jewellery and Gifts from around the developing world.
